Okay so there are some things that I realize I am really bad at as a Dad. The hardest part for me, are the little things. Those damn little things you miss as a parent that probably aren't a big deal to your children, but you feel like shit for missing it. Yaaaa... thats me. Having the kids full time has me constantly racking my dome to make sure I remember little things as much as I can.
Well tonight after the kids had their showers, I saw claws! Freaking talons coming from Jaxons feet. If they were any longer, I would fully expect him to swoop down out of the sky in some majestic forest and grab a poor little trout out of the water. Ya I felt good. We took care of that. But it was one of those what the fuuu moments on my part.
Keep the toenail clippers close people.....keep em close. Feel better about yourself for checking those suckers on a frequent basis.
