So this is the first year I took my kids to Lagoon on my own. I had an amazing time, but it drained me as well. There was no way around it, I had to go two days in a row. I did this so Jaxon can ride his little kid rides Saturday and bounce back today for Taylor and me to go on the big rides. Yesterday was really amazing to watch Taylor be a big sister. She was very caring and went on any rides she could with Jaxon. There was only a couple of times Taylor got really antsy about going on other rides, but she handled herself so good. Well that is until we got home and the fighting commenced as usual. It was odd to be so wore out by not doing to much. All the kid rides are in the same spot for the most part. But I was pretty tired. I was pretty excited to go to sleep last night and laid in bed until 2:00 am until I fell asleep. I think I got a good hour of sleep in until Jaxon had come into my room, fell asleep and then kicked me in the balls to wake me up and stand guard for the night. I am thinking because this isn't the first time this has happened, I might start sleeping with a cup on.
Round 2....So we get to Lagoon at 10:00 thinking that's when it opens and had to stand in line until 11:00 for the rides to open. Oh definitely go to Lagoon on a Sunday. You walk onto rides. Barely any waiting. Anyways.. Taylor has no fear at all. I love that girl!! We did all the rides we could a few times and I got a little sick from it. Wicked was pretty good. First time I have gone on it because the line was always to long. Same with the Spider. That one actually scared the shit out of me. Taylor loved it of course so we went a couple more times. It was a great day with her. I love just spending time with my daughter. She is truly one of the most fun and entertaining people I know. But after these two days, I am flat out drained. I am trying not to complain, but good hell!!!
One thing for sure is, there are no cheap thrills when you go there. My pockets are empty! I am also trying to decide if it was the rides that makes people sick or the substance they call food there? I also didn't get to try any theme park pick up lines since my kids were there. Just the basic ones...Like "Wanna ride my roller coaster?" or "I wanna throw my balls in your basket." I was gonna try "Do you wanna try the ring toss on on me?" Oh well, maybe some other time. You thought I would just blog and not throw in a couple of jokes??? Come on!!!
All in all I had an amazing time with my little ones. Tired as hell, but WELL WELL worth every minute of it.
Hey look Gary my main man Wells made the picture!!
